LIMA — The North Central Ohio Solid Waste District has announced the June schedule for its drop-off recycling programs in Allen County.
• American Township: 2:30 to 5 p.m. June 6 in the northwest corner of the Lima Mall parking lot, 2400 Elida Road, Lima
• Cairo/Monroe Township: 2:30 to 5 p.m. June 13 on South Wall Street, Cairo
• Harrod/Auglaize Township: Noon to 2:30 p.m. June 18 in the parking lot at the Allen East Community Center, 9520 Harrod Road, Harrod
• Lafayette/Jackson Township: 2:30 to 5 p.m. June 18 in the parking lot east of the fire station, 215 E. Sugar St., Lafayette
• Bath Township: 2:30 to 5 p.m. June 20 at the Bath Township Hall, 2880 Ada Road, Lima
• Gomer Boy Scouts: 9 a.m. to noon June 15 at Uncle Al’s Pizza, 4305 Lincoln Highway, Gomer
• Delphos: 9 to 11 a.m. June 22 at Delphos Fuel and Truck Wash, 1770 E. Fifth St., Delphos
Acceptable items include paper, including newspapers, magazines, cereal boxes, telephone books, junk mail, office paper and brown paper grocery bags; cardboard, which must be flattened and no larger than two square feet; rinsed plastic bottles and jugs labeled #1 and #2 only; rinsed green, brown and clear glass food jars and bottles and rinsed metal cans, including aluminum, steel and tin cans. Plastic bags will not be accepted.
