RUSSELLS POINT — The Federal Emergency Management Agency will close its disaster recovery center at Galilee Lutheran Church in Russells Point at 5 p.m. Friday, May 24, the agency announced.
The organization anticipates opening another location in Logan County soon. People can find the center nearest to them at FEMA.gov/DRC.
The agency opened several disaster recovery centers following the March tornado that hit the Indian Lake region.
All recovery centers in Ohio will be closed Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day. The FEMA Helpline will remain open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. throughout the weekend by calling 1-800-621-3362. People can also request help at DisasterAssistance.gov or via the FEMA mobile app.
