LIMA — The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development is sending the Allen Metropolitan Housing Authority $724,892 as part of an announced $3.17 billion award to 2,756 public housing authorities across the country, including $113,720,214 to Ohio.
The department’s Capital Fund Program provides grants as part of annual funding to all public housing authorities to build, renovate and modernize the public housing in local communities.
