LIMA — A Lima student has ranked in a national competition.
According to a press release, Sarah Fickel, of Lima Christian Academy, participated in the Association of Christian Schools national competition along with 1,800 other students in the 46th annual competition held in Greenville, S.C. More than 180 Christian high schools were present.
The competition focused on categories in the Bible, academic testing, music and art. Fickel won first place in wood burning.
