ELIDA — Elida Elementary will host Family Literacy Night from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24.
More than 300 families attended the event in the past, which features activities with free books for students, games, prizes, pizza and raffles, last year.
Local organizations, including Johnny Appleseed Metro Parks, the Lima Public Library, the Allen County Museum and the West Ohio Food Bank, will provide resources and information to encourage reading.
This year’s theme will be “Dive Into Reading.”
