LIMA — The Area Agency on Aging is hosting its sixth annual dinner and auction.
According to a recent press release, the agency’s Silver Birch Foundation raises money for the organization. The event will be held at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 at UNOH Event Center, 1450 N. Cable Road.
“The annual dinner and auction is the main fundraising event for the Silver Birch Foundation.” CEO of Area Agency on Aging 3 Jacqi Lucke said in the release. “The proceeds from the ticket sales and auction go to help those that have been victimized and are facing hardships, such as eviction, or in need of food and necessities that they otherwise would not get assistance for through other programs.”
The dinner will also have a live and silent auction, reverse raffle and a 50/50 drawing.
