COLUMBUS — The Ohio House Higher Education Committee sent legislation to the house floor to require schools to designate restrooms for students according to their assigned genders.
In addition to restrooms, the legislation will cover locker rooms, changing rooms and shower rooms.
The proposed legislation would also prevent males and females from sharing overnight accommodations.
