LIMA — Mayor Sharetta Smith will walk the wards once again this spring starting with Ward 6B at Liberty Arts Magnet Elementary on April 23.
Ward 4D will start at Lulu’s Diner on Spencerville Road on April 30; 2C will start May 7 at Independence Elementary; 7C will start May 14 at the corner of N. Fernwood and W. High Streets; 3A/3B will start across from Central Lima NA Reading Park in the St. Rita’s parking lot on May 21 and 5C will start at Unity Elementary on May 28.
The mayor holds “Walking the Ward” annually to visit neighborhoods and talk with residents about issues, as well as to record potholes, sewer issues and other city service-related issues.
All walks start at 5 p.m.
