Columbus Grove farmer finishes leadership program

COLUMBUS GROVE — Local farmer Nate Schroeder finished a two-day program through the Ohio Corn & Wheat Emerging Leader Summit. According to a press release, the program aids in teaching communication, leadership skills and advocacy.

“The Emerging Leaders Summit is our opportunity to equip industry leaders and build on the skills they have already begun developing through their own practices and work,” Executive Director of Ohio Corn & Wheat said Tadd Nicholson in the release. “Nate is very active in his community, and we were excited to help give him the tools needed to promote positive change in his work.”

The release said Schroeder comes from generations of farmers in Putnam and Allen counties.
