Learn how solar eclipse affects animals

LIMA — Area residents have the opportunity to learn about animal behavior during an eclipse during an educational event scheduled from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 1, in the conference room of the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District office, 1682 Slabtown Road, Lima.

Participants will learn about animals’ reactions to this historical phenomenon and about the challenges of recording animal data during an eclipse.
