CELINA — Grand Lake Health System celebrated World Down Syndrome Day with donated socks to Joint Township District Memorial Hospital patients and staff.
World Down Syndrome Day is observed March 21 by wearing a pair of crazy socks to raise awareness of the condition that is caused by a third copy of the 21st chromosome.
Grant Topp, with family and friends, donated the socks for a 10th year.
