BLUFFTON — Bluffton schools teacher Katrina Riepenhoff died Friday while awaiting a heart transplant, according to a notice sent to parents Friday afternoon.
“Katrina was an amazing teacher who loved her students, loved teaching and was dedicated to teaching as she taught school yesterday at Bluffton (Middle School),” the notice reads. “Our prayers for Katrina and her family and friends as they go through this difficult time.”
Riepenhoff taught seventh grade math at Bluffton Middle School.
