LIMA — The Lima Police Department is accepting registrations for the 2024 Safety City Summer Academy.
Any child 5-9 years of age can sign up for sessions Mondays through Fridays from June 3 to July 19 to learn safety training.
Morning sessions are from 9 to 11 a.m. and afternoon sessions run from noon to 2 p.m.
Sessions are fully staffed and led by Lima Police Officer Eric Mericle.
