Vintage Chevrolet Club awards scholarships

LIMA – Four students of the University of Northwestern Ohio have received $500 scholarships from the Western Buckeye Region of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America.

They are:

Nathan Archambault of Alton, New Hampshire, who is majoring in automotive and high performance technology.

Bryce Stearns, of Mendon, a double major in agriculture equipment technology and automotive supervision.

Joseph Pozda, of Grafton, a high performance automotive technology major.

Josephine Schmucker, of Palm Beach, Florida, an automotive and high performance technology major.

The local Chevrolet club raised funds at its annual car show as well as cruises. “Our scholarship committee is excited about what’s happening here at UNOH,” said club director Dan Groman.

The club also donates to Habitat for Humanity.
