C. Henry Smith Peace Lecture planned at Bluffton U.

BLUFFTON — Dr. Robert Brenneman, a professor of criminal justice and sociology at Goshen College, will present “The New Peacebuilders: Shifting Violence, Shifting Peace in Northern Central America,” at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 12, in Stutzman Lecture Hall on the campus of Bluffton University.

Brenneman will discuss what can be learned from the peace-building practices of Central American Anabaptist-Mennonite congregations.

The event, which is free and open to the public, will serve as the C. Henry Smith Peace Lecture for 2024 in honor of the late professor who taught at Bluffton for 35 years.
