LIMA — Youngsters age 3-5 and their adult companions are invited to learn about snakes during sessions sponsored by the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District and hosted by the McElroy Environmental Education Center, 2355 Ada Road, Lima.
Participants will learn what makes snakes different from other reptiles and other snake facts. A hike in the woods will be included.
Events are planned for Thursday, March 7, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; Friday, March 8, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.; and Saturday, March 9, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.
