LIMA — DECA students from Lima Senior High School will attend the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities board meeting Monday, Feb. 26, to present a donation for the Allen County Special Olympics.
Funds will help cover expenses for athletes, events, transportation and other costs, according to a press release from the Board of DD.
DECA, short for Distributive Education Clubs of America, is a student club for aspiring entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management. This is the fourth year DECA students have donated funds to support people with developmental disabilities, according to the release.
