LIMA — Author David Meyers will discuss his new book in an event Saturday, Feb. 24 at 1:30 p.m. at the Lima Public Library, 650 W. Market St., Lima.
Meyers and his daughter Elise published three books about African-American history in Ohio, most recently “Historic Black Settlements of Ohio.” They include descriptions of events like lynchings and capturing freed, formerly enslaved people to return them to bondage.
