Winning tepees, wigwam models on display at Cridersville museum

CRIDERSVILLE — The Cridersville Historical Society will host a two-day open house to allow the public to view the winning models from the Cridersville Elementary School fourth grade wigwam and tepee model project.

In November fourth-graders made models of wigwams and tepees which were displayed during the annual Christmas on Main Street celebration. People who visited the school were invited to vote to select the 10 best models.

The winners will be on exhibit between the hours of 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24, and Sunday, Feb. 25 at the museum, located at 111 W. Sugar St., Cridersville.

Admission is free.
