More than 800 sophomores recently visited two of Vantage Career Center’s 18 available programs for enrollment opportunities. Sophomores were able to spend 45 minutes in each program and gain a better understanding of Vantage student life, industry skills and opportunities upon graduation.

VAN WERT — Vantage Career Center will be hosting an open house for community members. The event will be held from 5 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26 at 818 N. Franklin St., Van Wert. According to a recent press release, the free open house will provide an opportunity for new students to meet the staff and learn more about their programs.
“We welcome this opportunity to open our doors to our community members so they can experience what our students’ experiences and training opportunities look like every day,” Community Relations Coordinator Miriam Owens said in a recent press release. “This is a great event for community members or potential students eager to know more about Vantage adult and high school programs, advanced training, skills and equipment, credentials and licenses.”
