LIMA — The Greater Grand Lakes Beekeepers Association will host Krispn Given for their monthly meeting. According to a recent press release, the meeting will be held from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 13, at St. Marys Community Public Library, 140 S. Chestnut St., St. Marys.
Given began beekeeping at the age of 9 and currently is the senior apicultural specialist at Purdue University.
The organization will also begin beekeeping classes from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. on March 9 at the Richardson-Bretz Building, 119 W. Fulton St., Celina. Classes are $50 pre-registration and $60 at the door. The informational class will provide a reference book, catalogs, door prizes and much more.
