Dominion Energy partners with Salvation Army for assistance

LIMA — The Salvation Army is now accepting applications for the “Energy Share” program. According to a recent press release, the program assists community members with paying their energy bills. The release also states those interested in applying for the program must have attempted other forms of assistance, had a recent shut-off and have income at or below the 300 percent the poverty guideline.

The program has provided services to over 96,000 people over 22 years. Dominion Energy customers can contribute to this effort by mailing a check to EnergyShare, P.O. Box 5847, Cleveland OH, 44101. The program is open now until May 31.
