LIMA — Lima Senior High School announced that three art students have won Scholastic Art Awards.
Hailey Hahn, Yara Al-Hisah and Neveah Fletcher will see their works displayed in the Fort Wayne Museum of Art for being recognized by the northeast Indiana and northwest Ohio section.
While Hahn’s sculpture “Treasures Under the Sea” was recognized with a silver key, Al-Hisah’s drawing “My Mom” and Fletcher’s jewelry pieces “Forget-me-nots” earned gold keys and will go to New York for the national competition.
The Fort Wayne exhibit will run from Feb. 10 to April 7. There will be an awards ceremony Feb. 18.
