‘Hops with Happy’ set for Leap Day at Cleveland Museum of Natural History

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Museum of Natural History will hold a Leap Day edition of its Think & Drink series called Hops with Happy.

It’s slated for 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29.

Guests can explore the museum’s newly transformed spaces while sipping selections from local breweries.

The museum features a variety of specimens, including the sauropod dinosaur Haplocanthosaurus delfsi — known as Happy. Discovered by a museum team nearly 70 years ago, Happy is the only known adult specimen of this species complete enough to display fully.

Astronomers will offer planetarium shows to offer facts on Leap Day, and visitors can learn about hops and fermentation from local breweries.

Online-only tickets are $15 (members, $5). Parking is $10 (members, $6). Food will be available in Origins Café, and beer and wine will be available for purchase until 8:30 p.m. Go to cmnh.org.

The museum is located at 1 Wade Oval Drive, Cleveland.
