LIMA — Throughout November and December of 2023, the Lima-Allen County Safe Community Coalition released reports of two fatal crashes. According to a recent press release, there were a total of 10 fatal crashes in Allen County in 2023, which is down from the 15 crashes in Allen County in 2022.
Three of the fatal crashes in 2023 were on state highways, two were on city streets and five were on township roads. Drugs or alcohol use was found to be a factor in two of the crashes.
