COLUMBUS — The Ohio Cattlemen’s Association honored Goecke Farms as its Commercial Cattleman of the Year during the association’s annual meeting at the Hilton Polaris Hotel in Columbus this month.
The Spencerville farm is operated by brothers Mark and Steve Goecke, who sell an average of six to eight 48,000-pound cattle loads a month, according to a press release about the award.
Mark Goecke will serve another term as president of the Cattlemen’s Association executive committee in 2024.
