LIMA — Efforts to address infrastructure issues related to bridges in Allen County were rewarded Thursday as multiple bridges either had load limits removed or were reopened.
Allen County commissioners approved the removal of load limit postings for the State Road bridge between Defiance Trail and Old Delphos Road in Marion Township and the Purdy Road bridge between Kill Road and Acadia Road in Spencer Township. The removals came thanks to the bridges being replaced.
The Crabb Road bridge between Auglaize County Line Road and Amherst Road in Perry Township was reopened Thursday after being closed for replacement.
