Rhodes State College announces change to process of appointment

LIMA — Rhodes State College Board of Trustees has announced a recent change to their appointment process. According to a recent press release, two members of the board were selected by the governor and five were appointed through other representatives. Starting next year, board members will be appointed through a Trustee Selection Committee. The release also states the committee will be a group of three or five business leaders, civic or non-profit leaders in the area.

“This transformation reflects a paradigm shift toward advancing the workforce,” Rhodes State College Board Chair Butch Kirk said in a recent press release. “We have a responsibility to those who live and work within our communities and to provide the much-needed workforce to advance economic development.”
