LIMA — WLIO Chief Videographer Phil Thomas was honored after 42 years of service. Mayor Sharetta Smith presented a proclamation to Thomas at the Mayor’s Press Conference on Wednesday morning.
“He has always been a really genuine, hardworking, honest and trustworthy person,” Smith said. “I appreciate both the professional and personal relationship we have been able to have over the years.”
The proclamation declared Oct. 18 as Phil Thomas Day. His last official day is Friday, Oct. 20.
