LIMA — An event will be held at Rhodes State College to bring awareness to addiction. Beyond Addiction will be held from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3 at 4240 Campus Drive, Keese Hall Multipurpose Center in Lima. The free event will host various speakers and panelists speaking on addiction.
“The event is really to boast and kick off our new behavioral health center that is opening,” Chair of Public Service Patricia Hampshire said. “The event is to incorporate the community and allow community members to see what we offer in terms of our addictions, mental health and social work system program.”
