LIMA — The Lima Exchange Club will give money to 11 organizations in the community. The event will take place at the club’s meeting from 12:15 until 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 7. According to a recent press release, the overall goal of the club is child abuse prevention and welfare.
The donation recipients are listed below:
• Heart and Sole, $1000
• Allen County DARE Program, $1,000
• Lima Youth Roller Hockey, $1,000
• Samaritan House of Lima, $1,000
• St. Jude Children’s Hospital, $500
• Crime Victim Services, $500
• National Exchange Club Foundation, $500
• Rally Youth Point Center, $500
• Lima City Schools, $500
• Northwest Ohio Literacy Council, $500
• Ohio Youth Golf Clinic, $250
