LIMA — The C2K Striders are headed to nationals. Coach Rod Simpson said out of 90 students, 17 will be joining the AAU Junior Olympics. The runners joined the Mayor’s Press Conference on Wednesday morning to share the upcoming event.
“This year has been an exciting year,” Simpson said. “We strive to be great each day. In order for the city and the world to be better we have to invest in our kids.”
Following the competition, the team plans to take one month off.
