Mercy Health to manage ONU student health center

ADA — Mercy Health will staff and manage Ohio Northern University’s student health center under a new 10-year agreement that university officials say will provide student access to virtual visits outside normal business hours, the university announced via press release Tuesday.

Students will now have access to electronic health records via MyChart, another option for students to view test results, schedule appointments and ask for prescription refills.

“This is a commonsense partnership that draws upon the expertise and resources of a top national and regional health care provider to benefit our students, faculty, staff and the community,” ONU President Melissa J. Baumann said in the release. “We’re excited to collaborate with Mercy Health to enhance health care on campus.”
