FINDLAY — Flag City Honor Flight will depart at 8 a.m. following a breakfast June 13 at the Eugene F. Kranz Toledo Express Airport.
About 85 Vietnam War veterans from the Findlay-based hub of the National Honor Flight Network, as well as students from Rossford and McComb High Schools will travel to Washington D.C. to visit war memorials.
The flight will return to Toledo at about 9:30 p.m. where family members, friends and community members will hold a welcome home ceremony.
The public is welcome and encouraged to attend the homecoming to cheer on the flight.
The next two honor flights for the year will be Sept. 12 and Nov. 7.
