Al Best Band at Lima Eagles

2 to 4 p.m. Thursday

Enjoy some sweet sounds of the past as you dance with your favorite partner from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday at the Lima Eagles, 800 W. Robb Ave., Lima. The Al Best Band will provide the music for the dance, which is free to attend. For more information on the dance, call the Council on Aging at 419-228-5135.

Mother’s Day Sip N Shop

5 to 7 p.m. Thursday

Downtown Lima Inc. is holding a Sip N Shop to celebrate moms everywhere. Take some time to relax with a DORA beverage while you browse through such shops as Jean & Lily’s Fashion Boutique, Leaf & Luke and ArtSpace/Lima.

‘Four Weddings and an Elvis’

8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday

Encore Theatre will be the place to be for lovers of comedy with “Four Weddings and an Elvis” showing this weekend. Enjoy the antics of hilarious couples tying the knot at a Las Vegas wedding chapel, including an appearance by the King of Rock and Roll himself. Activate Allen County Bike Rodeo

Noon to 1 p.m. Saturday

Saturday’s Bike Rodeo at 700 Brice Ave., Lima will help children ages 5 to 12 learn about bicycle safety, thanks to simulated real-life scenarios. Crankers Cycling will be on hand to conduct safety checks on bicycles, and helmets will also be checked to ensure that they are properly fitted for children. All participants must bring their own bicycles and wear closed-toed shoes.

Numskullz at the Ohio Theatre

8 p.m. Saturday

The Ohio Theatre, 122 W. North St., is hosting Numskullz, a group comprised of Doug Druckemiller and Carl Smith of the Indoorfins, from 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday. Doors open at 5 p.m. and seating is first come, first served. General admission tickets are $5 and are available at ohiotheatrelima.com/numskullz.
