LIMA — A regional ‘pitchfest’ will be held for start-up and emerging businesses from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, at Rhodes State Borra Center, 8 Town Square. The Lima Area Chamber Foundation, Walter C. Potts Entrepreneur Center and Small Business Development Center at Rhodes State will host the event for business owners. According to a recent press release, the ‘start-up’ category is for entrepreneurs needing funding for a new business and the ‘emerging’ category is for businesses that have been open for 1-3 years.
To participate, community members must submit a 3-5 sentence summary and business plan to [email protected] no later than Monday, May 15.
