CLEVELAND – Hopeful golfers are questioning the forecasting abilities of those groundhog prognosticators Punxsutawney Phil and Buckeye Chuck.
Both celebrity rodents saw their shadows, thus predicting six more weeks of winter. But reality seems to be at odds with their predictions. Local meteorologists are calling daily highs in the 50s, even 60s through Monday, Feb. 20. The weekend looks particularly nice, with warm temperatures, a mix of clouds and sun and low probability of rain.
All of this is to say that it might be a great time to dust off the golf clubs and hit the links for some rare warm-weather February fun.
