Police seek help in Wapak robbery

WAPAKONETA —Wapakoneta Police are asking for the public’s help after a robbery in Downtown Wapakoneta Thursday afternoon.

According to a press release from the Wapakoneta Police Department, a robbery occurred at around 12:45 p.m. on Thursday at Moon City Gaming at 116 E. Auglaize St.

The suspect is described by police as approximately 6 feet tall and 230 pounds. He was seen at the time wearing a black CAT jacket, blue jeans and white shoes with his face fully covered.

He was last seen walking east on Auglaize St. and leaving the scene in a dark-colored SUV. Police are asking anyone with cameras along Auglaize, Wood and Bellefontaine Streets to check their cameras and call the police departrment if a vehicle matching the description is seen around that time.
