Rachel Hellman Art Exhibition

Support local art at The Met from 6 to 9 p.m. today, as the downtown venue will host an exhibition featuring local artist Rachel Hellman. Hellman is a student at Bluffton University. The event is free and open to the public.

Lima Land Poetry Slam

7:30 p.m. Friday

Poets, musicians, singers, rappers and everyone in between is invited to take part in the next installment of Lima Land Poetry Slam, set to begin at 7:30 p.m. at the Vibe Coffeehouse, 311 E. Market St. The event is held the second Tuesday of each month, and a donation of $5 is suggested for entry.

Forty Acre at Zinum 12

7 p.m. Saturday

Treat your loved one to an evening of delicious food and great music at Zinum 12, 134 W. High St., Lima. The evening will feature a special Valentine’s menu along with music by St. Marys’ own Forty Acre. The concert will start at 9 p.m.

Love is Strange Bazaar

5 p.m. Saturday

Enjoy local craft beer and other crafted goods starting at 5 p.m. Saturday at Outskirts Brew Co. & Dive, 2412 Cable Court, Lima. Weird World Art Market will feature a variety of crafted items from local vendors sure to appeal to every taste.

Puppy Pals at Niswonger

3 p.m. Sunday

Want to enjoy a funny show featuring some adorable pups? The Puppy Pals Comedic Dog Show will take to the stage at 3 p.m. at at Niswonger Performing Arts Center, 10700 state Route 118, Van Wert. Featuring mostly rescued animals, the show will feature a variety of stunts, from driving cars to jumping rope to diving from a high ladder. Tickets start at $15 and are available at vanwertlive.com.
