WAPAKONETA — Churches throughout Auglaize County are being invited to ring their bells at noon Feb. 14 for a special occasion.
The Ohio Legislature approved the creation of Auglaize County 175 years ago from that day and the 175th anniversary committee is inviting churches to mark the occasion for just under three minutes at midday. Residents will be able to pause in a moment of prayer and appreciation for their home county.
