Multiple area highway construction projects underway

LIMA — The Ohio Department of Transportation has announced new highway construction beginning the week of Nov. 7.

On I-75, construction will begin on Monday, Nov. 7 to Thursday, Nov. 10. The road will be closed between State Route 65 and Auglaize County line for pavement repairs. Construction will also be held for about one hour during this time for pavement repairs on the exit ramp to Stae Route 65. Community members are encouraged to use exit 120 to Breese Road.

On U.S. 30 construction will be located between Defiance Trail and Buettner Road and between Wapakoneta Road and Gomer Road. The roads will be restricted to one lane for bridge work.

According to ODOT, State Route 117 in Westminster may have traffic impacts and lane restrictions for utility relocation.

State Route 309 is now open between Perry Chapel Road and Pevee Road following two roundabout projects on Napoleon and Thayer Road.
