WAPAKONETA — The Ohio Department of Development announced Friday that Auglaize County will receive $1 million in grant funds to improve housing.
The grant is part of $20 million in total grant funds being dispersed to 28 communities across the state, according to a release from the department.
The money going to Auglaize County will fund the rehabilitation of 10 owner-occupied homes and one rental home and the repair of 14 additional owner-occupied homes. The funds will also include a fair housing component.
Auglaize County will partner with the cities of Wapakoneta and St. Marys in administering these funds.
