Bluffton University hosts Spiritual Life Week

BLUFFTON – Andrea Flack-Wetherald ’10, comedian, speaker and best-selling author, will speak during Bluffton University’s Spiritual Life Week Forum at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25 in Yoder Recital Hall. The title of her presentation is “Compassionate Accountability.”

During the presentation, she’ll show how mindful improv thinking holds compassion and accountability together in the presence of bad behavior and for the purpose of making change on the issues that matter.

At Bluffton, one week each semester is designated as Spiritual Life Week, a special time for focusing on Christian life. Students play a major role in planning activities during the week that help strengthen growth and faithfulness in their relationship with God. The theme for this fall’s Spiritual Life Week is “Let’s talk… about building each other up” using the scripture: Ephesians 4:29-32.

Flack-Wetherald will also speak during Chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 27 in Yoder Recital Hall.

Both events are free and open to the public.
