Lima Noon Optimists seek help for Safety City Trick Or Treat

LIMA – The Lima Noon Optimist Club is hosting its annual Trick or Treat at Safety City, 700 S. Collett St., Lima, from 12 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.

The club is looking for any organizations or businesses that would like to participate by handing out candy or other items to the children in attendance that day.

The Noon Optimists Club will designate spots for each organization that participates, and if a group has a mini building at Safety City, they will have that spot as in years past. A space with a table and chairs will be provided for participants. If you don’t have a mini building at the Optimist Safety City, you may want to bring a sign with your organizations name on it and have something to stick it in the ground.

The Club asks for participating groups to bring enough candy or supplies for 2,000 to 2,500 kids, depending on the weather.

If interested in participating, please call Bob Laman at 419-235-8153 or email [email protected].
