Johnny Cash Tribute Band

7:30 p.m. Friday

The Johnny Folsom 4, a Johnny Cash tribute band, will perform at Fountain Park in Van Wert. The Raleigh, North Carolina-based group will bring all the familiar Johnny Cash tunes to fans of the Man in Black. The group has brought their take on Johnny Cash to festivals throughout Tennessee and the Carolinas.

Traditional Irish Music Concert

7 p.m. Saturday

Four Ohioans comprise Toraigh (pronounced “Tory”), a folk music group that performs traditional Irish music from the sixteenth through the twentieth centuries regularly heard in pubs. Typical musical selections include jigs, polkas and hornpipes. They will be performing at the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District Amphitheater, 2632 Ada Road, Lima. Westminster Music in the Park

11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday

The public is invited to Westminster Music in the Park, in Westminster Park, 6825 Faulkner Road, Westminster. The event will feature a free worship service (11 a.m.), gospel music (noon to 4 p.m.), food (starting at noon) and a car show (noon to 3 p.m.).

‘Dancing Horses’

5 p.m. Sunday

Come watch horses perform to a musical beat during the 2022 Open Musical Freestyle Show in the horse arena at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds, 1001 Fairview Drive, Wapakoneta. According to ‘Dressage Today,’ “The beauty of the freestyle is when a horse and rider have the technical ability not only to ride to music but dance with it.”

Auglaize County Fair

Starting Sunday

This year the Auglaize County Fair celebrates 170 years of bringing food, family fun, games, live entertainment, and animals of all sorts to Auglaize County Fairgrounds, located at 1001 Fairview Drive, Wapakoneta. Harness racing, craft booths, baking contests, demolition derby, square dancing, corn-hole tournament and tractor pull are just a few of the activities planned. Live entertainers will include Rowdy Ron, Steve and Zach Rosenbeck, Glory Way, The Martins, Ernie Haase & Signature Sound, Shifferly Road Band, 11th Hour and Brother Believe Me.
