LIMA — Allen County Children Services will host Fostering the Future at Vibe Coffeehouse and Café, 311 E Market Street, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. This free event will teach members of the community about the parental option of fostering children. Refreshments will be available.
The event is an informational session with the agency’s recruitment team and a few foster parents who will speak on behalf of the program.
The agency hopes to have 10-20 new foster homes within the next two years.
