Final numbers reported for Mayor’s Spring Clean Up

LIMA — After four weekends of the Mayor’s Spring Cleanup, final numbers for the program were reported by the City of Lima’s Neighborhood Support Specialist Sydni Winkler.

A total of 283 Lima residents took advantage of the program, filling 44 dumpsters with trash. Additionally, 2,759 tires and 104 cubic yards of brush were collected.

The city partnered with Rumpke Waste and Recycling and area nonprofits, businesses and church groups to host 19 sites throughout Lima throughout the program, with 126 volunteers helping make this year’s cleanup possible.
