Tanker’s valve leak posed no danger after accident

OTTAWA — The Putnam County Emergency Management Agency, Pandora Emergency Medical Services, Putnam County EMS, Pandora Fire Department, Blanchard Twp FD and Putnam Sheriff’s Office all responded to an Anhydrous Ammonia tank accident Tuesday.

According to a Facebook post from the Putnam County Office of Public Safety, the tank had a small leak in a valve and there was no danger to the public. When community members see this happen, officials advise them not to drive through it or approach it and to call 911.
