LIMA — Allen Lima Leadership Love Luggage is currently seeking donations for its 2021 Love Luggage campaign. Since 2006, the Love Luggage project has distributed more than 100 backpacks annually to children entering foster care in Allen, Auglaize, Hardin and Putnam counties.
The backpacks contain items such as toothpaste and toothbrushes, soap and shampoo, coloring books and crayons, stuffed animals, books, puzzles, games and small toys.
Those items may be dropped off at the Allen County Children Services agency, 123 W. Spring St., in downtown Lima. Tax-deductible monetary donations by be made by check in care of “All Love Luggage” and mailed to 144 S. Main St., Lima 45801.
