Woman arrested after search yields fentanyl, heroin in Kenton

KENTON — A female, whose name was not released, was taken into custody on drug-related charges in Hardin County on Thursday following the execution of a search warrant.

The Hardin County Crime Task Force served a search warrant at 215 N. Glendale St., Kenton, in reference to trafficking of illegal narcotics. Detectives took into evidence fentanyl, heroin and marijuana, along with numerous drug paraphernalia instruments, several thousand dollars in cash and weapons.

The female was taken into custody for a probation violation and other charges are pending.

The Task Force was assisted by the Kenton Police Department, the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office, the Hardin County Special Response Team, the Hardin County Prosecutors Office, Hardin County Dog Warden, the Kenton Fire Department, Hardin County Child Protective Services and Hardin County Community Corrections.
